Umaikase

an algae-driven omakase experience

Umaikase is Boston’s most forward-thinking omakase experience. Inspired by their years of extensive research, travel, and work all over the world, Chefs Isa, Kheya, April, and Kitty deliver an algae-driven menu reminiscent of the freshness, quality, and variety of traditional omakase while redirecting discerning diners to the conscious consumption of more sustainable alternatives. Umaikase’s algae omakase highlights just one piece of the larger challenge brought forth by the ecological impacts of ocean acidification, unsustainable fishing practices, and climate change.
